Our Managing Director, Dr Margaret Ann McCann, studied in Dublin and comes from Northern Ireland and worked in Belfast hospitals before working in the field of addiction treatment. If you are from Ireland, you can either enter treatment as a private patient, or apply for funding for inpatient treatment at Castle Craig.  

Conveniently Located Rehab

Castle Craig is located just 45 minutes by car from Edinburgh International Airport and is also easily accessible from Glasgow airports. Flights arrive several times a day from the following airports: Belfast International, Belfast City, Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Donegal and Derry. Available airlines include Aer Lingus, Ryanair,  Easyjet and Flybe. We can provide onward transport for patients arriving from the Republic of Ireland to Edinburgh or Glasgow airports.
