Lee Taylor

Family Programme Coordinator

Lee Taylor coordinates the Family Programme at Castle Craig.

Since graduating from Strathclyde University, Lee has been involved in education, training and personal as well as professional development for more than 30 years. This has included the pastoral care of both young people and adults and working with their families. During this period she completed a certificate in counselling skills followed by a post-graduate diploma in counselling and supervision. She is a qualified Reality Therapy practitioner, certified in Grief Therapy and is a member of COSCA.

Psychodrama is also one of her interests and a few years ago she spent some time learning how to use psychodrama techniques based on Jungian psychology. A year-long addictions therapy training course at Castle Craig exposed her to working with families. This led her to complete a year’s training in Systemic Family therapy. Lee facilitates Castle Craig’s Family Programme, and finds providing counselling support for families is a rewarding part of her job.

Lee is very interested in personal development and enjoys taking part in workshops and groups. She also teaches counselling skills at a local college two evenings per week.
